This role will play a critical part in driving qualified traffic, improving user engagement, and contributing directly to our customer acquisition and revenue goals.You’ll be responsible for leading our content efforts across channels—SEO, website, social, email, and influencer partnerships—and for managing a high-performing mix of content creators, freelancers, agencies, and internal stakeholders.   • Develop and execute a data-driven content marketing strategy that drives qualified traffic, conversions, and revenue
  • Align content initiatives to growth objectives across channels including SEO, paid media, CRM, and product marketing
  • Identify core audiences and create tailored messaging and content journeys that build trust and action

Content Creation & Channel Ownership

  • Lead the end-to-end content process in partnership with key stakeholders—from ideation to production to distribution
  • Own and optimize organic channels including blog, website, SEO, social, and influencer partnerships
  • Partner with Growth, Product, and Customer teams to create content across the full customer journey (awareness to retention)

Creative Management & Collaboration

  • Manage a network of creators, agencies, and internal designers to scale high-quality content production
  • Oversee editorial workflows, creative briefs, and brand voice consistency
  • Support Growth and Product teams with creative support
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with Growth, Product, and Customer Success to ensure alignment and efficiency

Performance & Optimization

  • Set clear KPIs for content success (traffic, conversion, engagement, SEO rankings, etc.)
  • Continuously test, measure, and optimize content performance using appropriate tools
  • Stay on top of trends in parenting, childcare, content marketing, and social media to inform strategy

Qualifications:

  • 5–8+ years in content marketing or demand generation role, preferably in a tech, marketplace, or consumer-focused company
  • Demonstrated success driving revenue-impacting growth through SEO, social, content, and partnerships.
  • Experience managing external and internal content teams—including creators, agencies, and freelancers
  • Excellent writing and editorial skills, with a strong grasp of brand voice and storytelling
  • Demonstrated taste in design composition and balancing brand forward, direct response creative.
  • Strong analytical mindset and comfort working with performance metrics and data dashboards (Looker) to interpret complex data and turn insights into revenue
  • Passion for solving real-world problems and creating meaningful value for customers
  • A collaborative, results-oriented mindset, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional, people first leader, able to coach teams to be their best.
  • Familiarity with the childcare or family services industry is a plus but not required.

The pay range listed here is what Sittercity in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening.

Actual compensation offered within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors. This position is also eligible for bonus awards.BenefitsThe Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, and short-term disability insurance. Also, depending on hire date and subject to applicable eligibility requirements, new employees in this role receive up to: ten days of paid sick time per year, fifteen days of paid vacation time per year, six weeks of paid parental leave (after twelve months of service), and 9 paid holidays annually.Perks
