The day to day.
- Work closely with Product Management, Engineering Management, and an agile development team to deliver impactful software rapidly and iteratively
- Drive results by seeking out and anticipating roadblocks, and identifying improvements to increase efficiency
- Write, test, and maintain software applications that are resilient, robust, and perform at scale
- Apply specialized knowledge to understand, analyze and solve dynamic challenges
- Constantly look for opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation and optimization of code
- Encourage and drive the implementation of industry leading engineering practices
Your skills and expertise
Minimum qualifications:
- 4+ years of writing software using Agile practices to deliver high quality software addressing customer needs
- Deep understanding of the inner workings of WordPress and how users build with it
- PHP, JavaScript, TypeScript + the ability to quickly adapt to new software language requirements
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience working with a remote team
- Experience leading and presenting to peers and immediate managers
- Experience working with CI/CD, testing, deployment pipelines
