We are pleased to announce the opening for a Site Lead who will join our Research and Development team in Dayton, OH and become part of our rapidly growing technology company operating in radar, missile defense, cybersecurity, test range modernization, biotechnology, and space control marketspaces. You will join a team known for combining domain expertise with emerging technologies to deliver outstanding, innovative new capabilities to government and commercial customers.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
You’ll be a key member of our Technical Solutions division, growing our footprint in Dayton, OH. You'll be responsible for your group's growth across multiple Government customers. Site Leads are experienced leaders that possess a comprehensive understanding of operations, business development, bid and proposal, industry dynamics, and team formation. Site Leads nucleate and grow new teams, cultivate relationships with both new and existing customers, and foster a culture of high integrity, innovation and technical excellence.
Site Leads drive organic growth by spearheading initiatives, fostering innovation, and ensuring the organization's offerings meet evolving customer needs. They actively contribute to organizational strategy, cross-functional coordination, talent development, and training and course development initiatives. They take a leadership role in business development, leading efforts to author proposals, build relationships, and identify opportunities for expansion into new markets and customer segments. Specific responsibilities include the following:- Dayton Site and Market Leadership: Establish and represent the company as the senior leader in the Dayton, OH market, serving as the primary point of contact.- Strategy & Pipeline Support: Contribute to business strategy development, pipeline growth, CRM management, and opportunity shaping efforts.- Proposal Leadership: Lead significant portions of proposal development efforts, ensuring compelling and compliant submissions.- Contract & Team Stand-up: Help stand up newly awarded contracts and task orders, establishing appropriately sized management teams.This position is considered a senior position. You will need to be able to demonstrate an exceptional degree of technical ingenuity, intellectual curiosity, clear communication, and a track record of successful business development/bid and proposal efforts.
You will be a self-starter and able to demonstrate a history of program creation and growth.
Here’s what you’ll need:
You must have a Master's degree at minimum. Also, we’re looking for someone with twelve years of full-time professional experience in a combination of technical leadership and organizational leadership roles. Finally, you must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret Security Clearance. Lacking any one of these disqualifies you from this job.
You also must have:
- A high degree of technical competence in one or more of the following areas:
- GIS / GEOINT
- Modern analytics
- Software development processes
- Outstanding demonstrated technical competence and ingenuity in one of the three areas identified above [Must be able to quickly understand, apply, and adapt challenging technical concepts]
- Exceptional aptitude for leading teams that build high-quality intelligence and analytical products [Must be able to demonstrate this by a portfolio of work in some capacity]
- Strong intellectual curiosity [You will be asked to leave your comfort zone early and often, so we're looking for evidence that you've done this on your own before]
- Preference for self-directed work [You'll work with our top technical and back office talent, but we're looking for evidence that when given a problem to solve, you know how to identify and execute the means for solving it.]
- Demonstrated history of effective collaboration [You'll be working with multiple other people as part of a variety of integrated teams and must be capable of both shouldering work yourself and leading projects with little guidance. This implies other things like good communication, planning and coordination, and 'soft' skills.]
- Demonstrated history of successful business development / bid and proposal / commercialization efforts [You'll be responsible for the company's growth across multiple Government customers, and should be semi-comfortable and fully excited about doing so]

- Demonstrated ability to architect and execute proof-of-concept efforts to rapidly reach a usable Minimum Viable Product
- Demonstrated ability to lead multiple geographically distributed teams
