As a Groomer at Skiptown, you will:
- Perform full grooms, baths, trims, and breed-specific cuts with expert technique
- Manage client appointment details using Skiptown’s tech tools—documenting before/after photos, notes, and timing
- Communicate with the support team to adjust schedules, flag special needs, and keep everything on track
- Recommend the right services based on coat condition and pet parent goals
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional grooming space at all times
- Deliver exceptional experiences that leave both pups and pup parents excited to come back
Compensation & Full Time Benefits:
- Commission: 50% of Full Grooms + 30% of Add-Ons
- Tips: 100% yours

You’ll thrive in this role if you bring:
- At least 1 year of professional grooming experience
- Your own grooming tools (clippers, shears, brushes, etc.)
- Confidence with scissoring and clipper techniques
- Reliability, great time management, and a positive attitude
- (Bonus!) Experience coaching or mentoring other groomers
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and pull up to 140 lbs
- Capable of repetitive motions (brushing, drying, etc.) and kneeling/bending
- Comfortable standing and walking up to 8 hours/day
