We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Legal and Administrative Assistant to join our remote team. This role will involve providing legal and administrative support to our internal team members and leadership, ensuring smooth daily operations, and assisting in managing legal documents, data entry, filing, and timelines. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented self-starter with strong communication skills and a passion for supporting corporate and legal processes.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Legal Support (30%)
  • Draft, proofread, and format legal documents such as contracts, NDAs, agreements.
  • Review, file, and analyze contract contents; ensuring deadlines, timelines, and requirements are being met.
  • Maintain and update contract management systems with accurate case information and timelines.
  • Administrative Support (30%)
  • Handle confidential information and legal documents with discretion.
  • Assist in date entry, correspondence, and other administrative matters
  • Process and request payments
  • Assist with general office tasks such as data entry, document filing, and office organization.
  • Document & Timeline Management: (30%)
  • Organize and maintain both electronic legal files and records.
  • Ensure timely filing and retrieval of case files, legal documents, and records.
  • Implement and maintain effective filing systems for legal and administrative documents.
  • Additional Tasks: (10%)
  • Assist with special projects needs from the team, as needed, either on an ongoing or a one-off basis.
  • Stay up to date on relevant legal developments, tools, and industry best practices.

  • Qualifications:


    • Education: Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in legal studies, business administration, or related field. Ideally a paralegal certification.
    • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a legal assistant or administrative role, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department.
    • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of legal terminology, and document management.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (OneDrive, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and project management software (e.g., Asana, Projects).
    • Proficient in remote work tools such as Zoom, Teams, Slack.
    • Excellent written English communication skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
    • Abilities:
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Strong time management and organizational skills.
    • Proactive approach to problem-solving and handling tasks.
