Job Title: Sales Operations Intern (Hybrid)Location: US-GA-Atlanta (Sandy Springs)FLSA: Non-exempt Job Overview:Safe-Guard Products International is seeking a Sales Operations Optimization Intern to support the identification and analysis of required skills and existing gaps within the sales organization while helping drive process improvement. This role will involve analyzing existing data from assessments such as DISC, conducting industry research, and gathering insights from sales leaders to determine key competencies and gaps.
The intern will then identify available training, determine missing content, and establish training requirements, and frequency.Job Responsibilities:
- Organize existing data from DISC assessments and conduct industry research
to determine essential competencies for successful sales roles.
- Provide insights on trends and best practices in skill development for sales professionals.
- Identify existing training programs that align with required competencies.
- Determine gaps where new courses need to be developed or sourced externally.
- Establish whether training is required, when it should be taken, and how often.
- Work with the LMS administrator to ensure proper course availability, assignment, and credit within the LMS.
Job Requirements:
- Targeting undergrad or graduate students pursuing a degree in Business, Sales, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Strong research and analytical skills to assess training needs and identify best practices.
- Ability to conduct independent research and synthesize findings into actionable recommendations.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and the ability to create process documentation and presentations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong desire to learn and contribute in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment while meeting deadlines.
