About the Role: This position requires the individual to have a permanent remote office based within a 4-hour drive or 2-hour flight to the Oxford Atlanta HQ, and the ability to travel as needed (approx. 10%).


The Staff Accountant III performs a wide variety of accounting functions, including establishing and maintaining accounting records for a combination of general accounting and cost systems.

  • Prepare journal entries of accounting transactions with close assistance from Accounting Manager or higher-level Accountants.
  • Assists and performs analysis and interpretation of accounting records for use by management.
  • Prepare and maintain spreadsheets for account analysis and reconciliation, including inventory, prepaids and accruals.
  • Acts as lead to lower-level employees.
  • Assists in the preparation of financial and operating reports including trial balances, adjustments and closing entries.

Who we would like to meet:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • High level of knowledge of MS Office products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.
  • Experience with process improvement and automation.
  • Savant, SAP and Blackline experience is a plus.
  • Retail experience is a plus, as well as experience working with a public company.
