The role:


We are seeking an IT Manager to ensure the smooth operation of our IT & OT systems, manage IT staff, and implement technology solutions that align with our business objectives. The successful candidate will have a strong background in IT management and a proven ability to lead teams effectively.

Please note: This is an on-site role based at our Brooklyn office.


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and security posture of computer systems, hardware, and networks.
  • Manage a small team of IT professionals abroad and on-site with the addition of Managed Service Providers (MSP) where needed.
  • Design and implement IT policies and procedures around procurement, End User Lifecycle Management, Identity and Access Management
  • Lead IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet specifications and deadlines.
  • Plan effectively across the company with multiple stakeholders on objectives that support the business technology needs
  • Manage the annual IT budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness in all operations.
  • Work closely with the Information Security team to ensure endpoints and networks are monitored and patched.
  • Provide technical support to staff and ensure that IT and OT needs are identified and met.
  • Develop enterprise-grade policies for a high-growth organization from the ground up.

Qualifications:


  • Experience: Proven experience as an IT Manager or in a similar role (typically 5+ years).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant experience.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of computer hardware/software systems, networking, data governance, and cybersecurity best practices and frameworks. (NIST)
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to manage personnel effectively and foster a collaborative team environment.

Preferred requirements:


  • Fluency in Spanish

Compensation

All final pay rates will be determined by candidates experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
