Job Description
We are looking for an Electronic or Optics Engineer to join our Homologation Passenger Car Department. As part of the homologation team, you will be responsible for the approval of different projects regarding homologation of components (Indirect vision, Lighting/Light-signalling) and vehicle approval testing.
Some of the main activities of this role include:
- Global homologation of lighting and light-signalling devices: ECE Regulations, FMVSS108/CMVSS108 (USA/Canada), AIS (INDIA), Taiwan, CCC China, Korea.
- Indirect vision system tests: Camera-monitor systems (CMS) and Rear-view mirrors.
- Vehicle approval testing for Indirect vision systems and lighting and light-signalling.
- Study and development of International Standards focused on the new laboratory of CMS and vehicle testing of AFS, ADB, AHB, ESS, RECAS systems.
- Automotive Lighting and light-signalling laboratory testing.
- Performing technical reports.
- Verifying technical and administrative documentation for approvals.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Optics, Physics, or similar.
Languages:
High level of Spanish and English.
Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
