We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Revenue to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Revenue, this role will be responsible for supporting the sales organization as a go-to person for deal desk questions and overseeing the monthly revenue accounting close process while ensuring compliance with ASC 606 and other relevant accounting standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of revenue accounting principles, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:


  • Be one of the primary contacts to the sales organization for all topics regarding revenue recognition and pricing requirements.
  • Be a primary member of the deal desk team, ensuring timely and accurate deal structuring, contract reviews, and approvals.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of pricing strategies, discounting policies, and revenue recognition principles (ASC 606).
  • Work cross-functionally with all departments that may have a direct impact on deal structure (Sales Operations, Strategy, Legal, Finance, etc.). Be a sales advocate and partner to internal organizations to understand details around each transaction.
  • Ensure the highest level of compliance with U.S. GAAP rules governing revenue recognition, ASC 606 Revenue from Contracts with Customers.
  • Oversee the monthly revenue accounting close process.
  • Review quarterly revenue disclosures in C3 AI’s financial statements.
  • Monitor and analyze revenue metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of revenue data to stakeholders.
  • Manage and mentor a team of revenue operations professionals and provide ongoing development opportunities for team members.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in revenue operations, deal desk management or related roles.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex deals and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
