Job Description
- Employing effective sales strategies, including offering deals to travel agencies on email & phone, to maximize conversion rates.
- Handling flight ticketing, changes, EMD issuance, cancellations, and refunds efficiently.
- Staying current on flight product knowledge and ensuring accuracy to prevent revenue leakage.
- Applying comprehensive knowledge of fare types, airline policies, and geography.
- Utilizing various Global Distribution Systems (GDSs), with a focus on popular GDS commands in Galileo and Amadeus.
- Ensuring timely transaction billing and issuing Refund Credit Notes in compliance with client agreed commercials, airline policies, and regulatory standards.
- Employing positive telephone service techniques and addressing special customer requests.
- Collaborating with team members to provide coaching, mentoring, and constructive feedback to enhance service levels.
Qualifications
- Minimum experience of 3-6 years.
- A passion for providing excellent client service, including proactively anticipating client needs from a travel agency point of view.
- Native GDS expertise in Amadeus & Galileo and LCC portal.
- Strong professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Integrity in all actions, especially when handling personal traveler information.
- A solid understanding of the B2B travel industry, ideally with experience to provide ticketing solutions to travel agent partners.
- The ability to resolve customer issues quickly and independently, or in collaboration with suppliers.
- A collaborative spirit and openness to feedback.
