Summary
The PowerBI Engineer plays a crucial role in interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques, and providing ongoing reports. This role will ensure the availability of actionable insights for decision-making across the organization by designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports within Power BI.
Requirements
Who You are:
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- You possess 3+ years of experience as a Power BI Engineer or in a similar role.
- You are proficient in using Power BI, with strong knowledge of Power Query, DAX, and Data Modeling.
- You have experience with data visualization best practices, ensuring clarity and effectiveness of reports and dashboards.
- You are knowledgeable in SQL and have experience working with relational databases.
- You have understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing.
- You have strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information accurately.
- You have excellent communication skills that allow you to articulate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Azure services for data storage and processing.
- Familiarity with Python or R for advanced data analysis.
- Previous experience in consulting or a digital agency environment.
- Relevant Power BI certifications.
