Role Overview:
We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to support our marketing, product, and account teams. In this role, you will be responsible for two key areas: crafting visually stunning and print-ready designs for client direct mail campaigns, and creating impactful graphics to enhance BirdseyePost’s own branding and marketing initiatives. Your work will align with clients' brand assets and requirements while also shaping the visual identity of BirdseyePost. Your expertise in direct mail and print design, along with your creative vision, will be critical in delivering impactful solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Direct Mail Campaigns:
- Design print-ready postcards and direct mail materials, ensuring proper setup for CMYK, bleed lines, and other print specifications. Strong experience with print (direct mail) design is is a huge bonus.
- Utilize client brand assets and guidelines to create best-in-class, visually compelling and effective direct mail designs.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to produce promotional materials, presentations, and other client-facing assets.
- Ensure brand consistency across all client visual materials.
BirdseyePost’s Own Branding and Marketing:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to produce promotional materials, website, ads, presentations, events, and other marketing assets.
- Work on BirdseyePost’s promotional campaigns, internal branding, and marketing initiatives.
- Develop and maintain BirdseyePost’s visual identity across platforms and materials.
- Stay updated on design trends to continuously enhance BirdseyePost’s branding efforts.
- Ensure brand consistency across all visual materials.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing print-ready and direct mail designs.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Figma and other relevant design tools.
- Deep understanding of print design requirements, including CMYK, bleed lines, and file preparation for production.
- Creative thinker with the ability to transform client assets into engaging designs.
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, and color theory.
- Experience in both digital and print design.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work on time.
Bonus if you have:
- Familiarity with marketing copywriting.
- Experience working on branding projects or creating design systems.
- Located in Toronto (but we’re happy to consider remote applicants).
- Experience in a fast-growing startup environment
- Familiarity with Framer
