MicroHealth is seeking a System Administrator Level IV to support our client and team. As a System Administrator supporting the Defense Health Agency (DHA) designated the daily activities of configuration and operations of business systems that may be mainframe, mini, or client/server based. Optimizes system operation and resource utilization and performs system capacity analysis and planning. Provide support to users in accessing and using business system. This resource shall have subject matter expertise in (Unified Critical Telecommunication Systems) such as nurse call, middleware transport, pocket pagers, and public address systems that intra-communicate supporting urgent and emergent staff within the facilities at the Defense Health Headquarters (DHHQ) in Fort Sam Houston, TX.  
**This is a Planned Position. **This is an on-site Position  **May require Letter of Commitment Security Clearance Level: Secret  Location: 3551 Roger Brooke Dr, Fort Sam Houston, TX 78234  Responsibilities: 

  • Deploy, sustain and troubleshoot new or existing server operating systems and related infrastructure software and hardware. 

  • Administers day-to-day sustainment, integrity, security and availability of infrastructure platforms. 

  • Perform daily system backups, performance monitoring, capacity analysis and maintain security posture of infrastructure systems. 

  • Creates standard operating procedures, maintenance guides and knowledge base articles to ensure proper documentation is established for the operational upkeep of the infrastructure platforms. 

  • Performs infrastructure platform maintenance upgrades to ensure a proper security and operational posture is maintained. 

  • May assist architecture and engineering with evaluation, making recommendations and testing of infrastructure hardware and software products. 

  • Maintain system integrity, patching and hardening as it aligns with DoD and local information assurance managers (IAM) policies.  

  • Troubleshoot and repair existing infrastructure supporting wireless devices associated with nurse call, middleware system, overhead paging system, and wireless pocket pager systems. 

Qualifications: 

  • Education: Master’s in information technology. 

  • Ten (10) years of experience supporting Critical communication systems. 

  • Five (5) years or more experience in a major hospital supporting more than 100+ bed environment. 

  • Five (5) years of experience supporting military production systems. 

  • Experience using Assured Compliance and Assessment Solution (ACAS) 

  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2022  

Required Certifications:  

  • Citrix Certified Advanced Administrator (CCAA)  

  • Assured Compliance and Assessment Solution (ACAS) Certification 

  • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)  

  • CompTIA Security+ 

  • Candidate must have one of the following DoD approved certifications to meet the category/level IAT III (DD 8570)
  • CASP CE 
  • CCNP Security 
  • CISA 
  • CISSP 

Salary: $100,000 - $115,000
