In this role, you will assist the Program Manager in overseeing various projects and initiatives, ensuring that all goals are met in line with client expectations and organizational capabilities.ARETUM is committed to delivering innovative solutions and exceptional service to Federal clients across multiple sectors, including Next Generation Analytics, Engineering Services, Training Services, IT Systems, Cyber Security, PMO Support, and Financial Consulting.

Your contributions as a Deputy Program Manager will be essential in upholding our high standards of service delivery.

Responsibilities


  • Assist the Program Manager in planning, coordinating, and overseeing project activities.
  • Manage and coordinate project team members and resources to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Monitor project progress, track deliverables, and ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to the Program Manager and stakeholders.
  • Identify and address risks and issues that may impact project success and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather project requirements and ensure alignment with client expectations.
  • Support the Program Manager in maintaining client relationships and addressing client concerns.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in project management and apply them to enhance project performance

Requirements


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management or related roles.
  • Experience managing government contracts is highly preferred.
  • Secret level security clearance (must be issued by DCSA) (must be eligible for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
  • Strong in-depth knowledge of DOS rules and regulations and project management practices.
  • Demonstrated experience managing similar IT Governance programs.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
