Education Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems. In lieu of a degree, the Lead Network Engineer should have a total of 15 years of experience in IT network engineering.
Position Description:
The Lead Network Engineer, serves as the subject matter expert in the areas of network engineering design, testing, and deployment.
Responsibilities
The Lead Network Engineer shall perform the following tasks:
· Be responsible for maintaining the design and integrity of the customer's Wide Area Network (WAN), Local Area Network (LAN), Enterprise Network Tools, Domain Name Servers (DNS), Wireless, and Cloud environments. Provide expert technical assistance to team members
Requirements
Required Skills:
- Have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in network engineering and design
- Experience in network engineering and a minimum of 5 years in network architecture.
- Able to obtain public trust clearance
