Overview

Data is at the heart of any organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data integration solutions that enable the business to extract value from data. This role will involve working closely with business stakeholders, data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to ensure data is available, accurate, and secure. The ideal candidate will have experience with data integration tools and techniques, as well as strong problem-solving and communication skills.This position offers a vast spectrum of experience, where you will have broad responsibilities, such as scaling our integrations and architecting solutions, all to build a growing business while working cross-functionally with a variety of stakeholders.

This role will be based in Toronto, Canada and reports directly to the Manager, Integrations.

What You Will Do:

Design, build, and maintain data integration solutions to ensure data is available, accurate, and secure
Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements
Create and maintain data integration pipelines, ETL processes, and APIs
Build error handling flows to report on issues and reprocess failed events
Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues, errors, and failures
Ensure data quality, integrity and security
Keep up-to-date with the latest data integration tools and techniques, and recommend improvements to our existing processes
Build out test cases to ensure integrations are working correctly

Who You Are:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
3+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL, and API development
Proven experience as a Data Engineer/Integrations Developer or similar role
Strong understanding of data integration tools, technologies, design patterns and techniques
Experience with ETL tools such as Airflow, Informatica, or MuleSoft
Strong SQL programming skills and experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL
Experience with data warehousing and data modeling
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Experience using CI/CD tools to manage end-to-end deployment lifecycle
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Extra Credit

MuleSoft Platform certified for Architect/Developer.
Boomi Platform certified for Architect/Developer.
Warehouse automation or logistics experience is an asset
