Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role 3 days a week minimum, for a Data Analyst at WALT Labs in London Kings Cross. The Data Analyst will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as data analytics, data modeling, and utilizing statistical methods to drive business insights in Looker Studio and Looker Core. Effective communication skills will play a key role in collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Analytical Skills, Data Analytics, and Data Modeling abilities
- Proficiency in Statistics
- Experience using Looker Studio at minimum
- Strong Communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Statistics, Data Analytics, Computer Science)
- Experience in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, etc)
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and optimize datasets in BigQuery or other SQL databases for analysis and reporting.
- Use SQL to query large datasets and uncover trends that support business decisions.
- Design, build, and maintain Looker dashboards, including custom LookML models.
- Optimize queries and visualizations for cost efficiency and performance improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather reporting requirements and present actionable insights.
- Ensure data privacy, security, and compliance with governance policies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies and support Looker or SQL database-related issues.
- Monitor and automate reporting for business-critical KPIs.
- Stay updated on best practices and recommend process improvements for data analysis and visualization.
This role combines technical skills in SQL and Looker with strategic analysis to drive data-driven decisions.
