The Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Revenue Cycle Specialist to temporarily support our billing, coding, and reimbursement processes during a key growth period. This temporary, part-time position (estimated 4-6 weeks) will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and efficient revenue cycle operations, contributing to Rippl’s financial health while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.
Essential Functions:
- Assist in daily claim submission
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure accurate documentation and coding (CPT/ICD-10)
- Answer & return incoming billing questions from patients and/or caregivers
- Recommend and implement process improvements to increase billing efficiency and reduce denials
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all applicable billing regulations
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, ideally in outpatient or telehealth environments
- Strong understanding of billing practices related to mental health or dementia care preferred
- Familiarity with EHR and billing platforms (Athena strongly preferred)
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer requirements
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- A team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a problem-solving mindset and a can-do attitude.

Pay Range Details
The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.Role: Range is $27-35/hour, depending on experience. This is a 1099 contractor role. Contractor is responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
