Sales Operations Administrator - Customer Sales Operations - Contractor

As a Sales Operations Admin, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our CRM, handling sales data, creating quotes, and supporting the sales team with operational tasks. You will play a critical role in keeping sales operations running daily & smoothly, ensuring CRM accuracy, and helping the sales team meet their targets through consistent support and process optimization.This role ishybrid OR remote, based out of Austin, TX, Santa Clara, CA, or Toronto, ON. We welcome candidates at various experience levels for this role.

Responsibilities:


  • CRM Management & Data Entry:
  • Oversee the daily management of CRM, ensuring that all deals, leads, and opportunities are accurately tracked and up to date.
  • Assist in maintaining and creating CRM journal entries for deals and leads, ensuring correct deal stages, timestamps, and status updates.
  • Manage lead and opportunity pipeline updates, ensuring smooth transitions between sales stages and alignment with sales strategies.
  • Quotations & Proposal Creation:
  • Assist the sales team in creating accurate quotations and proposals using pre-defined templates or custom configurations based on client needs.
  • Ensure that quotations are aligned with pricing strategies and contract terms.
  • Maintain an organized system for managing and tracking issued quotations and follow-up actions.
  • Administrative Support:
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Sales Operations team, including scheduling meetings, managing documentation, note taking, and supporting daily operations.
  • Order Management
  • Loading Order Information: Ensure that all order details are accurately loaded into the order management system. This includes verifying order data, cross-checking with CRM and ERP records, and updating order statuses promptly. Maintain data integrity by regularly auditing and reconciling information, and address discrepancies immediately to support efficient processing and customer satisfaction.
  • General Order Management: Oversee the complete order processing lifecycle, ensuring seamless transitions from order placement to delivery, and provide support in managing returns, cancellations, and related documentation.

Experience & Qualifications:


  • Min 3-5 years of experience in sales operations, sales administration, or a similar role.
  • Proficient in CRM systems
  • Proficient in ERP systems and other sales/management tools
  • Strong experience with sales processes and data management.
  • Familiarity with generating quotes and proposals within a sales environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain data accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Solid communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.) and other reporting tools.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to generate actionable insights from data.
  • Knowledge of sales proposal tools and systems.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for reporting.

Compensation for all engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets.
