You will collaborate with clients to assess their current financial operations, design tailored solutions, and implement best-in-class consolidation practices. This role is ideal for finance professionals with expertise in financial close processes, IFRS/GAAP standards, and multi-entity consolidations who enjoy problem-solving in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
What You Will Do
- Assess and design consolidation solutions that align with client financial goals and reporting requirements.
- Lead the implementation and configuration of Prophix Consolidation applications.
- Assist clients with complex financial consolidations, including investment/equity eliminations, currency conversion, and intercompany eliminations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP, ASPE, IFRS) and accurate financial reporting across multiple entities.
- Provide expert training and best practice guidance to help clients maximize the value of Prophix.
- Troubleshoot technical and financial challenges, offering high-quality, innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with finance, accounting, and reporting teams to gather necessary data and resolve consolidation issues.
- Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure successful implementations.
- Clearly communicate project progress, risks, and technical solutions to both clients and internal teams.
What You Will Bring
To succeed in this role, you will need a combination of experience, technology skills, personal qualities, and education.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in financial close process management, including consolidations and account reconciliation.
- Hands-on experience producing consolidated financial statements.
- Strong knowledge of investment/equity eliminations, currency conversion, and intercompany eliminations.
- Working knowledge of IFRS, ASPE, and GAAP accounting standards.
- Deep understanding of cash flow management and reporting.
- Ability to collaborate with finance, accounting, and reporting teams to gather financial data and resolve consolidation challenges.
- Fluent English language skills (additional language proficiency is an asset).
- Must be legally entitled to work in the country where the role is located. Must be able to travel to the United States, Canada and/or internationally, and have a valid passport.
Preferred Qualifications
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation in good standing.
- Experience with Consolidation solutions such as Hyperion, OneStream, or Tagetik.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-centered approach.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects.
