Summary/Objective


Performs tasks essential to the Agronomy Service Center and retail/wholesale diesel-powered vehicles and equipment in auto operations. Primarily focuses on performing routine oil changes and tire repairs to ensure the company’s vehicles are running smoothly and efficiently consistently; and maintains a safe, clean work area at our Marianna, AR. location.

Essential Functions


• Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment, reporting safetyconcerns, and following best practices to prevent injuries and accidents.• Changes oil in company vehicles to the required standard.• Conduct thorough inspections of tires to identify and diagnose any issues, such aspunctures, wear, or damage. Determine the most suitable repair or replacementsolutions.• All work performed is visually inspected and documented by the manager.• Advise the shop manager of any additional work that is needed• Perform work as outlined in the work order with efficiency and accuracy and by shopand company standards• Keep the shop area neat and clean and be able to account for all tools at all times• Maintains a quality and professional image with customers and is responsive to theirneeds• Other duties as assigned by the manager

Required Qualifications


• High School graduate or GED; may be offset by experience• Experience working in a tire or auto shop environment• Tire repair and oil change experience• Valid driver’s license preferred; must be able to meet a Motor Vehicle Review inaccordance with Company policy.

• Self-reliant and able to accurately work under limited supervision• Ability to ensure a safe working environment while performing assigned tasks• Customer-focused and able to work in a collaborative team• Ability to be flexible in work performed and schedule• Ability to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions, and possessbasic mathematical skills (preferred)• Self-motivated and able to perform cleanup around the work area• Ability to communicate and work effectively with team members and customers• Applicants must also be able to demonstrate the following competencies: acts withintegrity in products, processes, and relationships; delivers results efficiently & effectively.embraces role as an individual contributor to the warehouse team

Work Environment


While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a tire shop or outdooragricultural setting. Employee will regularly encounter extreme temperatures, adverse weather, dust,loud noises, and a hazardous agricultural and/or industrial environment that requires regular use ofPPE.

Physical Demands


The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Needs to stay in good physical condition toregularly lift more than 50 pounds, climb ladders, perform preventive maintenance activities, and assist other shop workers in various physical duties necessary in running an auto technician shop. Employee will regularly be required to walk, stand, lift, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, handle, feel andgrasp.

Workload is frequently medium to heavy.

Travel


Travel outside of the assigned area is very rare.
