POSITION: Financial Analyst - AIMSS (Contingent Upon Contract AwardLocation: Huntsville, ALClearance: SecretRESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide financial analysis support forthe Missile Defense Agency
- Prepare, review and distributemonthly financial reports to program management and government customers
- Track expenses and revenues in comparison to the establishedbudget;reforecast and analyze trends
- Coordinate financial questions/answers among program management,CFO, and contract staff
- Develop and maintain accurate budget and forecasting data and reports
- Develop and maintain accurateCLIN, BOM, labor category, charge code, timecard, expense and other associated data in accordance with data and tool standards
- Evaluate profit and cost efficiencies in various areas of the program as needed
- Develop, maintain and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models as needed
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics or Businessrequired
- Minimum of 5-years’ experience in reporting, consolidation and financial analysis.
- Experience supporting federal contracts required
- Current Secret clearance or ability to obtain Secret clearance
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and calculations;
- Experience with cost estimating and forecasting;
- Familiarity and experience with large government programs is desired;
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities;
- Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills
- Experience operating in complex professional environments with a variety of internal and external stakeholders across multiple organizations;
- Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment in support of customerrequirements;
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication and presentation skills;
- Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary, confidential and classified information;
- Strong experience with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, Intuit, or other major financial software
