As our People Operations Generalist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive HR support across the organization. This role combines traditional human resources responsibilities with a focus on enhancing employee experience, culture, and operational efficiency. You will work closely with various departments and leaders to ensure a smooth employee lifecycle, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure a positive new employee onboarding experience from start to finish. This includes pre-start items such as background checks and new hire paperwork along with new hire orientation and new employee follow-up sessions throughout the first 90 days
- Serve as the first point of contact for employees on HR-related inquiries, ensuring timely resolution of issues
- Support the Director of People Operations with employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive workplace culture
- Guide managers and employees on performance management practices and improvement plans
- Address and resolve employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws
- Manage HR administrative tasks such as maintaining employee records, processing payroll and managing benefits administration
- Help ensure compensation practices align with industry standards and company policies
- Support the continuous improvement of HR systems, processes and policies to streamline operations and improve efficiency
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
- Assist in the development, implementation, and updating of HR policies and procedures
- Conduct audits of HR processes and documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Assist in the administration of employee feedback programs, such as surveys or exit interviews
- Ensure that the company remains compliant with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in a People Operations or HR Coordinator role or equivalent
- SHRM-CP or PHR certified, preferred
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, practices, and employment laws
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
- Experience with HRIS and payroll systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
