The Presales Solution Consultant will collaborate with innovative companies interested in leveraging Prophix’s leading Corporate Performance Management (CPM) platform. Reporting to the Presales Manager, Europe within the Global Solution Engineering department, the role involves working closely with various internal teams and external stakeholders.

What You Will Do

Use your knowledge, insights, and presentation skills to influence customer decisions and drive successful implementations.
Assist sales, business development, and marketing teams as the subject matter expert for Prophix’s CPM solutions.
Consult on best practices using market and technical knowledge, helping prospects achieve their goals with Prophix's software and services.
Lead discussions on CPM, financial consolidations, ETL processes, databases, and cloud architecture to gain confidence and mindshare in client accounts.
Create tailored presentations, demos, and proof-of-concept solutions to showcase Prophix’s capabilities.
Communicate business and technical requirements to the Professional Services team for seamless post-sale transitions.
Act as an advisor to internal teams, providing feedback to product management, product marketing, and R&D teams.
Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to propose optimal solutions for clients.
Travel within the region and internationally as needed.

What You Will Bring

To succeed in this role, you will need a combination of experience, technology skills, personal qualities, and education.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in consulting, implementation services, business/system analysis, presales, or financial systems.
Post-secondary degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
Academic or practical knowledge of financial modeling and reporting (planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidations, and analysis).
Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies and leverage them to achieve business goals.
Strong presentation and communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Fluency in Italian and English is required (other European languages are a plus).
Must be legally entitled to work in the country where the role is located. Must be able to travel to the United States, Canada and/or internationally, and have a valid passport.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience with CPM, EPM, BI, or data warehousing solutions.
Knowledge of relational (RDBMS/OLTP) and multidimensional (OLAP) databases.
Experience with SQL, MDX, and ETL processes.
Understanding of SaaS and enterprise software architectures.
Expertise in Excel is an asset.
