Senior Partner Field Marketing Manager - APJ

HashiCorp, an IBM company, is seeking an experienced Partner Marketing Manager to join our expanding team. In this role, you will help drive our partner field marketing initiatives across the APJ region. The field marketing team executes targeted, geography- and vertical-specific campaigns that accelerate the sales cycle and enhance our go-to-market efforts. You will collaborate closely with partner leadership, partner sales, field marketing, and product marketing teams to design and execute impactful campaigns that drive results with our partners.

Highly detail-oriented, you have strong communication skills and ensure your work is always closely aligned with marketing, sales, and company objectives. You think strategically, taking a personal approach to marketing while also understanding that your efforts must ultimately be validated by data.

Responsibilities


  • Deliver partner field marketing across the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) sales regions with our cloud, SI, and tech partners
  • Work closely with regional partner leadership, partner sales managers, and regional field marketing managers to deliver aligned partner field marketing activities
  • Ensure partner field events are consistent with HashiCorp’s brand, messaging, communication, and marketing operations processes
  • Report on the results of partner field marketing activities in APJ, including analytics reports from Salesforce
  • Focus on driving the HashiCorp enterprise business while also understanding how our open-source initiatives and IT practitioners contribute to the company

Skills & Experience:


  • 5+ years in marketing with experience in multiple marketing disciplines, including customer-facing events and partner marketing
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Proven ability to work closely with a distributed sales team and collaborate effectively across geographically dispersed marketing teams
  • Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable engaging in a variety of environments - ranging from manager-level events to casual conversations with practitioners at conferences
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate, manage, and execute multiple marketing campaigns simultaneously
  • Ability to execute quickly with the ability to pivot projects as needs change
  • Comfortable working in a high-pressure environment and proactively seeking candid feedback from key stakeholders
  • Experience with Salesforce, Marketo, and SplashThat
  • Willingness to travel across parts of Asia Pacific for regional campaigns as needed
  • Graphic design skills and understanding of Illustrator are a plus
