We are looking for a highly skilled, customer-focused, and results-driven Cloud Engineering Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in cloud technologies and the ability to effectively communicate complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders. As a part of the Pre-Sales team, you will work closely with the pre-sales, delivery, and customer success teams to deliver tailored cloud solutions that drive customer success and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership during the pre-sales process by engaging with customers, understanding their business and technical requirements, and developing tailored cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.) to meet those needs.
- Work closely with the sales team to align on strategy and ensure that technical solutions meet both the customer's business objectives and the company's goals.
- Collaborate with sales and technical teams to design cloud-based architectures and solutions. Lead the technical discussion on cloud platforms, ensuring that solutions are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.
- Engage with prospects and customers to present and demonstrate cloud solutions. Build strong, trusted relationships with key decision-makers and technical stakeholders.
- Conduct technical presentations and product demos to potential customers. Explain complex technical concepts in simple terms and showcase the benefits of cloud solutions.
- Lead the preparation of technical proposals and RFP responses, ensuring that all technical aspects of the cloud solution are articulated and aligned with customer requirements.
- Develop and execute PoCs to validate the technical viability and business benefits of the proposed cloud solutions.
- Ensure all client deliverables meet or exceed quality standards and proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Manage and mentor cloud engineering teams, technical delivery teams, and consultants to drive consistent delivery excellence.
- Regularly report on the status of pre-sales and delivery activities to leadership, identifying risks, opportunities, and performance metrics.
- Identify and capitalize on market trends, emerging technologies, and new business opportunities to drive growth and innovation.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in IT services or a related industry.
- Strong expertise in customer engagement, solution selling, and stakeholder management.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.
- In-depth understanding of cloud computing concepts and architecture
- Experience in solution design, infrastructure as code, cloud migration, and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
- Knowledge of automation, containerization, and DevOps practices, cloud-native services (e.g., serverless computing, container orchestration, etc.)
- Knowledge of networking, security, databases, and compute services in cloud environments.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams, managing stakeholder relationships, and driving high-value sales and service delivery.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven track record of leading teams of professionals and driving engagement and positive culture.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance business needs and security risks.
