About the team:


The Integrations Team owns the pipelines enabling data to flow in and out of HackerRank such that customers are able to seamlessly use HackerRank products from any 3rd party tool. We meet the customers where they are - From Applicant Tracking Systems to communication tools such as Slack and Zoom. Integration is a critical part of the business, and is one of the many reasons why customers choose HackerRank. Making this seem simple to customers means abstracting away the complexities of making systems talk to each other in a scalable and resilient way, and that wouldn’t be possible without a team of skilled engineers.

About the role:


The role of Sr. Engineer is a technical leader on the team. Working closely with the Lead Engineer and peers to design, develop, and support world-class integration. We work in a fast-paced environment where the hours worked are not as important as the impact delivered. You will be expected to take complex business problems and product direction and break it down into engineering work. Then, partner with peers to implement your design. You will work with amazing engineering teams across the globe to evolve HackerRank’s products and drive a continuously higher engineering standard. 

What you’ll do:


Core responsibilities:

  • Design high scale and resilient integrations.
  • Break down, prioritize, and deliver changes to integrations in strong partnership with Product and Engineering leadership.
  • Support large enterprise customers.
  • Improve HackerRank engineering.

What you bring:


  • 5+ years of non-intern engineering experience
  • 4+ years of production Typescript/Node.js engineering
  • 1+ years of technical leadership experience
  • [Bonus] 
  • Production Temporal experience
  • AWS experience
  • Nest.js experience
  • Applicant Tracking System (ATS) experience

Current base salary range: 150K-170K. The exact salary may vary based on skills, experience, location, market ranges, and other compensation offered. The salary range does not include other compensation components, commission (for sales-related roles), bonuses, or benefits for which you may be eligible. Salary may be adjusted based on business needs.
