The role in a nutshell


We’re looking for an exceptional lead to join the team as our Finance & BizOps Lead. This is an incredibly unique role, engaging directly with our leadership team in an extremely high leverage capacity. Everything you’ll be working on will be a top priority for the company.

What you'll do:


  • Light the Path: Own the Mutiny operating model and revenue plan. Build a blueprint that helps our leadership team understand exactly where we are now, and how pulling different growth levers in the business influences our trajectory.
  • Guide the Business Model: Guide company decision-making processes with thoughtful analysis and decision frameworks. Align our resourcing to our strategy.
  • Understand the Market: Develop our understanding of addressable market. Track emerging technologies, market entrants and pricing levers; identifying Mutiny’s potential responses.
  • Build the Future: Partner with leadership to design new GTM programs that balance our desire to grow and balance efficient growth. Partner with product and marketing to identify market and ACV expansion opportunities.
  • Power our Operating Rhythm: Partner with the leadership team to help us execute better than anyone else in the market. Build a thoughtful planning and reporting cadence that powers Mutiny’s execution cycles. Develop metrics and a data layer that enable immediate, actionable insights.

Along with these skills, here are a few other things that’d make you the perfect match:


  • 5-10 years of experience, including operating experience at a high-growth company. You’ve seen how world class companies grow and have a demonstrated impact on trajectory.
  • Prior experience in investment banking or management consulting
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to tell a story and persuade people with data
  • Demonstrated ability to develop/lead planning processes at high-growth companies
  • An exceptionally high performance bar for yourself and everyone on the team. Unafraid to communicate what’s working and what needs to change.
  • Someone who is energized by ambiguity and can create structure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • A creative thinker who is quick on their feet and can pull things together in a scrappy way.
  • A kind human who wants to build an extraordinary company, culture and brand.
  • Based in NYC and willing to work closely with our leadership in person.

Hiring process for this role:


The hiring process for this role looks like this:

  • Round 1 - Quick Screen with Hiring Manager (15 minutes): you'll meet with the hiring manager to discuss your experience and how this role aligns with your career goals. 
  • Round 2 - Hiring Manager Deep Dive (45 minutes): you'll dig in with the hiring manager in all the skills needed for the role
  • Round 3 - Technical Challenge (45 minutes): we'll dive deeper into your technical skills.
  • Round 4 -  Three 45 minute interviews: you’ll meet with cross-functional members of the team to dive deeper into your experience and see if you have potential to be a great fit for Mutiny.
  • Round 5 - Executive Chat: you'll meet with the CEO to get a sense for each other's style and if you'll work well together.

Compensation:


Mutiny is proud to offer a competitive compensation package to all full-time employees, including base salary, equity, and comprehensive benefits. The estimated salary range for this role for US-based employees is $155,000-$180,000 and is determined based on many factors, including prior experience.These ranges may be modified in the future.
