Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our collaborative Accounting team and play a vital role in ensuring smooth financial operations.
In this role, you'll:
- Prepare accurate monthly invoices for our diverse international clientele, ensuring seamless billing and strong client partnerships.
- Calculate commissions with precision across various business models, directly contributing to the success of our sales teams.
- Skillfully input payments, credit memos, and statements, meticulously performing data entry, and allocating costs with accuracy.
- Maintain organized accounting records, diligently monitor our AR inbox, and proactively resolve documentation discrepancies.
- Follow up on delinquent accounts with professionalism, coordinate payment arrangements, and communicate important account updates to our internal teams.
- Bring your ideas to the table for process improvements and embody arrivia's core values in everything you do.
- Assist the Accounts Receivable team and accounting department with various accounting-related tasks.
- Research and interpret accounting policies and regulations (knowledge of GAAP is a plus).
- Analyze accounting options to suggest informed financial decisions.
- File documents, protect confidential accounting information, and ensure efficient record-keeping.
- Research accounting standards and address documentation problems identified internally or by external auditors.
- Function in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws.
- Coordinate payment arrangements with Account Managers and communicate termination/suspension information to the Business Development team.
- Demonstrate respect and provide outstanding support to colleagues, departments, vendors, and partners.
- Attend meetings, trainings, and seek opportunities to enhance your professional knowledge and technical skills.
- Work on special projects and provide back-up coverage as needed.
What you'll bring to the table:
- 3-5 years of proven experience in Accounts Receivable and a solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Associate's degree in Finance/Accounting or relevant certification. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Competency in bookkeeping and the ability to comprehend complex invoicing procedures.
- Exceptional accuracy, attention to detail, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
