General Summary of Position
Under general supervision, this position is responsible for selling Anthony & Sylvan products and services and assisting customers with their product needs. Provide exemplary customer service. Coordinate returns of merchandise and store merchandise stocking. Assist the store in achieving its’ daily, monthly and annual sales and service goals.
Job Duties
- Provide product knowledge to customers through the features, values, and benefits of each product; Know where products are located within the store; Be aware of current promotional items and the correct pricing; actively seek out and engage customers in store.
- Provide superior customer service and seek to understand and service customer needs while building future sale opportunities.
- Ensure the store is neat, clean, and organized throughout each business day.
- Maintain stock.
- Remain knowledgeable of products offered.
- Correctly handle all register transactions.
- Other projects and duties as required/assigned.
- Follows Anthony & Sylvan Pool’s policies and procedures.
- Standing for extended periods of time
- Frequently push/pull; occasionally bend/stoop/and reach above the shoulders.
- Climb a ladder; Carry up to 50 lbs.
- Assist customers to vehicle with supplies.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to work a standard workday as set by Manager or location.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds to shoulder height unassisted.
- Must be proficient in Math and English.
- Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work weekends and holidays.
