We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance Team. This is a fully onsite role. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties and responsibilities:• Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.• Manage and reconcile accounts payable ledger.• Prepare and execute payment runs, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers.• Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and answer inquiries.• Assist in month-end closing activities and financial reporting.• Maintain accurate and organized records of all transactions.• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless workflow and resolve issues.• Support audits and provide necessary documentation.Required qualifications:• A least 5 years of experience working in accounts payable or similar role.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and accounting software.• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.• High school diploma or equivalent.Desired qualifications:• At least 1 year of Microsoft Dynamics/Business Central highly preferred. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Physical requirements:• Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer.• Ability to lift and carry files and documents weighing up to 20 pounds.Abrasive Technology is a world-leading innovator in the development and manufacturing of super abrasive grinding wheels and tools with locations around the globe.
