As a member of the Venerable Treasury team, this role will directly support the company’s daily treasury operations function within capital markets and liquidity solutions and also gain exposure to cash management.Primary responsibilities will include the following:
- Work with Treasury Director in developing and analyzing detailed databases on Venerable’s portfolio highlighting key attributes for calculating liquidity capacity.
- Assist in increasing operational efficiency by standardizing & optimizing reporting processes for monthly & quarterly deliverables.
- Lead analysis evaluating liquidity products and solutions proposed by Venerable’s bank group comprised on multi-national banks.
- Participate in strategic analyses integrating future blocks of annuities from acquisitions.
- Build cashflow forecasting for various short & long-term periods and interpret results.
- Develop expertise in using Venerable’s Treasury Workstation and Investment Management systems.
- Review daily, monthly and quarterly management reporting; ensure accurate, complete and timely review of financial statements for internal & external debt and repurchase (repo) transactions.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures, including designing and implementing improvements.
- Support Treasury’s cash management function as needed.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Science, Mathematics or related field.
- 3+ years of overall related experience inclusive of data analysis and/or corporate finance.
- Strong analytical, financial and systems skills are required.
- Strong database skills.
- Flexible and able to excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Sound understanding of basic financial concepts.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word and Power Point.
