Sales Ops Data Analyst

Lakeland is looking for a highly driven professional with exceptional critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills to join the Sales and Marketing Operations team.
As Sales Ops Data Analyst  you will be responsible for data management, database technical support to internal and external stakeholders, and proper configuration and performance of the databases and reporting, including but not limited to Salesforce, PIM, Prophix, and Power BI.  In this role  you will work cross-functionally with a wide range of teams across Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Marketing, and Operations to drive key strategic and operational initiatives.The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, a natural strategic thinker, and highly proficient with using data to answer business-critical questions.

Whether you’re instrumenting key sales performance metrics or executing our go-to-market tactics, your work will have a direct impact on Lakeland’s business performance globally.  This position will report to the Director of Global Sales Operations and be located at our corporate office in Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities


  • Develop new processes to improve data integrity.  Clean, upload, and update all data.  Collaborate with global business unites to ensure data accuracy and timely delivery
  • Drive special projects and provide analytical support to business leaders 
  • Proactively maintain and identify opportunities for system, process and data improvements for the global Sales & Marketing Tech Stack 
  • Conduct regular system audits and data cleansing activities, ensuring systems are free from duplicates and inaccuracies 
  • Develop, instrument, and maintain sales Key Performance Indicator (KPIs) and support the rhythm of the business through weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting 
  • Create mappings between fields in the different sources/systems
  • Act as a trusted thought partner to a range of cross-functional stakeholders across Lakeland
  • Administration of salesforce.com and other related systems
  • Train staff on data processes as needed and provide ongoing technical and analytical support 
  • Do all the above with an eye toward improving the efficiency and effectiveness of sales and marketing teams

What you should have


  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in Sales Ops, IT, or in a similar role. 7+ years of experience required in lieu of Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong understanding of relational databases
  • Strong Data Quality, Data Governance and Data Management experience
  • Experience with Salesforce; Salesforce certifications, preferred
  • Self-motivated team player with the ability to explore and develop innovative ideas to drive revenue growth at Lakeland
  • Ability to frame business problems, design, and execute analyses to inform solutions, and communicate insights with a bias towards action
  • Excellent command of Excel (lookups, pivots, formulas) and high degree of confidence with handling and analyzing large data sets
  • Strong project management experience with demonstrated ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with little supervisions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • SAP S4 Hana experience, preferred
  • SQL, SOQL, and Apex experience, preferred
  • Experience with integration technologies i.e. ETL, data migration and packaged applications, etc. is preferred
