Jr. Account Executive

We are adding a junior-level Account Executive to our sales team.  This role offers significant opportunity to help strategically grow the business, retain large business units, extend the reach of our solid reputation, and partner in executing the future vision of the business and brand. The career path and growth potential for this position are incredible!Base salary is $60-70K plus commission.

What You’ll Do: 


  • Establish and consistently meet sales goals for consulting, creative concept development, logistics management, and labor and on-site project management services
  • Monitor sales against forecasts and participate in the determination of potential incremental business for the territory; participate in sales forecasting and planning by researching, developing and maintaining long and short-range marketing plans, attending sales meetings, and assessing, updating, and modifying projected goals to increase revenue and sales; create and review statistical reports and marketing data
  • Aggressively hunt for new business within exhibit house and/or direct clients
  • Manage clients’ labor programs
  • Build client relationships through service excellence and proactively balance campaign needs; regularly provide updates on new products and services 
  • Develop existing accounts and add additional accounts to the territory; develop CRM pipeline
  • Design programs to help existing customers maximize investment
  • Generate profitable labor revenue, grow share and develop new business; develop strategic relationships and fee-based revenue
  • Prepare strategic business plans and sales strategies to identify and qualify new sales or business expansion opportunities and aggressively market company products and services within a defined geographic area; follow up on customer inquiries for product offerings, pricing, and delivery information; estimate large projects
  • Schedule meetings and travel to prospective customer locations to arrange face-to-face appointments and develop excellent rapport; prepare and execute sales presentations to all levels of management
  • Coach Account Managers 
  • Partner with Account Managers and customer service, events, special operations,  and special programs teams to ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Other duties as assigned

Who You Are: 


  • 3+ years’ similar sales experience; event, trade show, or convention industry experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, hospitality, marketing, or related field preferred
  • Demonstrated success in business negotiation, acquisition, and retention
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Ability to solve problems with a creative, flexible, and resourceful approach 
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills; ability to produce and edit effective presentations and correspondence
  • Expert time management and organizational skills with the ability to quickly and gracefully adapt to a rapidly-changing environment
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
