What you will be doing:
INSIGHTEC Japan’s Marketing Manager will be responsible for all outbound marketing activities, including conducting innovative marketing programs and developing content and collateral materials that drive demand in Japan. In addition, he/she will oversee the downstream marketing activities in Japan, such as managing consultants, lobbying, working with KOLs, societies, patient groups, politicians and MHLW officials. The marketing manager will represent the voice of the customer for corporate marketing.
- Run ongoing integrated marketing programs and campaigns to increase awareness of the focused ultrasound procedure and generate demand
- Support pipeline acceleration activities to drive program growth and market adoption
- Sales enablement – communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the marketing collateral and sales tools that support the selling process of our applications
- New product launch – plan and execute the launch of new applications and releases
- Market intelligence – be the expert on our buyers, competitors and the complex market dynamics we
- operate in
- Conduct market research to identify trends and unmet needs
- Plan and execute the company’s events and tradeshows
- Utilize digital and traditional media to create patient awareness and public support
- Monitor reimbursement policy and healthcare trends that may impact our products
- Work closely with KOL users to develop strategy, secure societies support, and secure favorable MHLW attitude.
- Work with physicians’ academic societies and patient groups to leverage advocacy help
- Closely coordinate activities with INSIGHTEC Japan team (Japan Country Manager) and INSIGHTEC HQ (Corporate Marketing)
- Develop, with specialized consultants as needed, effective strategies for appropriate reimbursement for MRgFUS applications (C2, AMS)
- Manage the reimbursement submission process, working with specialized consultants as needed
- Establish and maintain relationships with MHLW and relevant institutions in charge of reimbursement policy in Japan
- Work with physicians’ associations (e.g., JNS) and patient associations to leverage advocacy help
- Utilize digital and traditional media to create patient and awareness and public support
- Manage marketing budgets and track ROI on marketing campaigns
- Responsibility to manage/oversight of marketing vendors/agencies in the region
What you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or a related field
- Ability to communicate in English (orally and in writing) with INSIGHTEC teams located outside Japan
- At least 5 years of proven marketing experience
- Proven experience in project management and working with consultants and suppliers
- Creative, motivated, success driven personality
- Executive presence, ability to work with Academic and business KOL
- Experience in medical device, biomed or healthcare industries
- Extremely detail-oriented and organized, and able to meet deadlines
- Experience with paid advertising campaigns including digital marketing
- Deep understanding of the Japanese healthcare industry
- Excellent human relations, experience as a team player
- Marketing oriented, creative thinker
- Ability and willingness to travel as required
