POSITION SUMMARY


Reporting to the SVP, IT and Cybersecurity, you will lead the overall IT and Service Delivery operations for Agital including central and divisional services. The primary responsibilities of your role will be to:

  • closely partner with the SVP, IT to effect central IT and Service Delivery strategy and governance
  • further establish the corporate IT platform as a scalable and agile function throughout the business
  • develop and implement standards and processes for IT and Service Delivery
  • build a winning team of IT professionals through direct hires and staff development
  • deliver M&A and growth related initiatives including major system migrations and consolidations
  • manage a diverse set of partners and internal stakeholders including Agital’s IT MSP
  • manage cyber risk and secure the organization by integrating effective cybersecurity controls into the delivery of IT services
  • oversee an annual operating budget

This role is 100% remote with limited travel expectations.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO AGITAL


You will bring these qualities to the table:

  • strong business acumen and experience working with leadership across Central Services functions including HR, Finance, Legal, and Marketing
  • keen understanding of value creation in a P/E M&A or similar environment, and experience working with portfolio company owners, founders, or other entrepreneurial leaders
  • ability to leverage business knowledge along with a command of IT Service Delivery and cybersecurity frameworks, standards, controls, and best practices to align IT needs to the business
  • tactical expertise in implementing complex IT solutions through effective change management
  • experience working with an outsourced IT operating model and MSP
  • an awareness of IT and cyber risk tolerances and how these align with and are supportive of broader business objectives

REPORTING TO YOU


This is a new role that will have initial support from Agital’s IT MSP. The MSP is a strong partner and has been in place since Agital was founded. Currently this roles does not have any direct reports, but it will have the opportunity to influence and help determine a future staffing and operational model for IT – this is expected to include building out an internal team in line with Agital’s growth strategy.

WHAT YOU WILL DO


  • Work closely with the SVP, IT to manage day-to day IT and Service Delivery operations including the MSP and related partners
  • Define key processes and SOPs ensuring efficient IT operations and a world-class employee experience, e.g. employee onboarding, offboarding, IT support
  • Track and manage IT hardware and software assets
  • Ensure a high-level of quality and employee satisfaction in IT services through measurement and reporting of KPIs
  • Develop and maintain a roadmap of IT projects and initiatives supporting business objectives
  • Manage IT and division vendor contracts, ensuring licenses and subscriptions are right-sized and spend is in line with usage and budget
  • Facilitate change management through effective planning, communication, and project/task management
  • Provide hands-on administration and support serving as the MSP’s primary technical escalation point of contact; this includes occasional end-user support
  • Work with the SVP, IT and key partners to execute major projects such as systems consolidations, data migration, brand transitions, and deployment of new tools and processes
  • Work with the SVP, IT to determine a go-forward staffing model and acquire talent supporting the current MSP operating model

WHAT YOU'LL NEED


  • BS/BA in IT, Information Systems, or related field
  • 5+ years previous work experience in IT management in practice lead, manager, or director role
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace including in a hands-on capacity administering and configuring these platforms
  • Extensive experience managing cloud/SaaS apps for employee productivity, collaboration, and work management (examples Adobe, Atlassian tools, Clickup, Monday.com, Slack, Zoom)
  • Experience managing outsourced IT operations including a Managed Services Provider (MSP)
  • Detailed understanding and experience implementing technical controls for hardware, cloud services, email, and identity management services
  • Excellent working knowledge of IT service management concepts and frameworks such as ITIL
  • Excellent working knowledge of Cyber detective and preventative controls, information and data protection
  • Conceptual knowledge of privacy and compliance rules and regulations
  • Financial and budget planning and management experience
  • Certifications including Microsoft, Azure, Google, ITIL, CISSP preferred
