RPM proudly services the some of the most recognizable and transformative companies in the world as The Driving Force in Logistics™Your RoleAs a Data Analyst at RPM, you will take ownership of designing, developing, and maintaining interactive reports and dashboards to support decision-making across the business. You will work closely with stakeholders to define KPIs, ensure data integrity, automate reporting workflows, and enhance data accessibility. In this role, you will be an integral part of a collaborative team, working hand-in-hand with data engineers to ensure seamless data integration, tackle data quality challenges, and optimize reporting processes.

This role requires a balance of technical expertise, analytical thinking, and business acumen to deliver actionable insights that drive business success.Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and optimize interactive reports, dashboards, and scorecards using Power BI.
  • Design and refine KPIs and metrics to measure business performance.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to transform, explore, and analyze large datasets.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing validation processes.
  • Implement and manage role-based security and user access for reporting.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers to enhance data models and improve reporting efficiency.
  • Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Present insights and recommendations to non-technical audiences effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and querying.
  • Previous hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, Domo, or similar BI tools.
  • Knowledge of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Familiarity with Power Query (M), DAX, and role-level security (RLS).
  • Ability to translate data insights into actionable business recommendations.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for sharing data insights.
  • Skilled in documenting data processes, workflows, and reporting standards for clarity and consistency.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, or similar).
