Analyst, Engineering Application Owner at FS Investments

The successful candidate is expected to:

Develop and maintain apps using Python, SQL, Reactjs, Java
Build and manage data pipelines on Databricks, DBT, Snowflake, RSL (Report Specification Language-Geneva) and RDL (Report Definition Language)
Experience with non functional aspects like performance management, scalability and availability
Work closely with front-office, operations, and finance teams to enhance reporting and analysis for alternative investments
Partner with cross-functional teams to drive automation, workflow efficiencies, and reporting enhancements
Troubleshoot system issues, implement enhancements, and ensure optimal system performance ensuring follow the sun model for end to end coverage for the applications

Qualifications & Experience:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 2+ years experience in enterprise software development, production management, preferably within financial services.
Experience with at least one programming language - Python, Java, Reactjs, SQL
Experience working with alternative investments and their reporting requirements
Hands-on experience in relational databases and complex query authoring.
Comfortable with fast-moving work environment with quick iterations.
Must be able to work out of our Bangalore office

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of AWS/Azure services
Prior experience in asset management/private equity domain
