We thrive on innovation, collaboration, and delivering meaningful value to our partners.Position Overview:We’re seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Public Relations to build and lead our PR practice, enhance our clients' brand reputation, amplify our own brand, and drive integrated storytelling initiatives.

This leadership role will set the vision, establish processes, and scale the PR function to complement our existing content and SEO services.Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic PR initiatives aligned with client goals, enhancing visibility, credibility, and thought leadership.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing PR team from scratch, fostering professional growth and aligning team objectives with business goals.
  • Oversee media relations, securing high-impact placements in top-tier media outlets, podcasts, events, and influential platforms.
  • Develop processes for the PR department, create additional client deliverables and shape strategy that drive client value given your experience as a PR leader.
  • Contribute to business development on sales calls, creating and setting strategy for potential clients.
  • Lead crisis communication strategies, proactively identifying risks and managing brand reputation challenges.
  • Collaborate closely with our content marketing and SEO teams to integrate PR efforts for maximum client impact.
  • Drive the development of PR performance metrics, ensuring clear ROI and alignment with overall marketing objectives.
  • Serve as a senior advisor to executive-level clients and internally to our leadership team.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in tech, traditional PR
  • 4+ years of experience in an agency setting
  • Demonstrated expertise securing high-value media placements, cultivating media relationships, and managing executive thought leadership.
  • Proven leadership experience building, scaling, and managing high-performing PR teams.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and crisis management skills.
  • Track record of integrating PR with content marketing and SEO strategies for cohesive brand storytelling.
  • Strong SaaS, fintech, and/or consumer industry connections and an established professional network.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in fintech, SaaS, consumer
  • Previous experience with digital PR
  • Experience leveraging data analytics to inform PR strategies and measure effectiveness.

Compensation:

  • Base Salary: $130,000 - $170,000 (commensurate with experience)
  • Bonus Structure: Performance-based bonus based on department growth
