We are Foolproof, a product design specialist working closely with Indigo Slate, a Seattle based Marketing powerhouse with deep expertise in marketing for technology brands. We are searching for a UI Designer who has a passion for creating digital products and services that create value for our clients and their customers. You are as passionate about creativity as you are about human-centred design and human outcomes. You are experienced in creating user-focused, elegant design solutions for digital products and services, with demonstrable examples of where you have delivered high-quality, high-fidelity UI, prototypes and documentation for build. Ideally you will have experience working on B2b or B2c platforms and dashboards.
You have some experience building or evolving design systems.You approach the work you do and the way you work with intelligence, imagination, drive, and humility.
Key skills and experience
- 2+ year’s experience designing user experiences, turning insight-led wireframes to prototypes, high-fidelity designs and documentation that bring brands to life.
- Experience building out design documentation for handover to development teams and working with those teams to ensure build quality.
- A keenness to explore the problem space before interactively exploring solutions to meet those problems.
- Strong presentation skills, comfortable iterating and presenting ideas, interactions and flows with confidence, guiding project teams through your process.
- Comfortable working independently or collaboratively with other designers, product managers and engineers in an Agile environment to create great user experiences.
- Exposure to working directly with clients, understanding the needs of their business, their employees and their customers.
- An understanding of technical platforms and how to get things built.
- A growth mindset, curious and eager to explore diverse ideas and learning, and seeking new opportunities and challenges.
What you will be doing
- Create exceptional user experiences. You will support the product designers to explore a range of ideas across different routes and support the team through iterative user-centred design processes and methods.
- Work with a client’s brand and design system to create beautiful, effective high-fidelity UI, prototypes and documentation for build.
- Drive quality. You seek feedback and actively participate in critiques, bringing in multi-disciplinary perspectives to shape your thinking and designs.
- Co-create experiences. You will work in multi-disciplinary product teams, collaborating with engineering and product management to ensure your designs meet user, business and technology stakeholder needs.
- Confidently contribute to creating design systems for clients, or just as easily work with and evolve existing design systems.
