This position is a blend of clinical EMT responsibilities and administrative duties. The ideal candidate will be highly professional, detail-oriented, and possess strong reasoning skills. This role requires a dynamic individual who can effectively support both patient care and administrative operations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide EMT support as needed, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Assist with checking in patients and verifying necessary documentation.
- Answer phones, respond to emails, and communicate effectively with internal teams.
- Serve as a key administrative contact for patient inquiries and scheduling.
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records.
- Work collaboratively with the medical team to ensure efficient workflow.
- Uphold a professional and compassionate demeanor when interacting with patients.
Qualifications:
- Must have graduated from an accredited Emergency Medical Technician training program and hold a valid certification.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Experience in both clinical and administrative roles preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks efficiently, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with computer systems and electronic medical records.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
- Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and strong leadership abilities.
