Are you an HBCU senior with a passion for digital design? Ready to turn your creativity into a career? Want to start your career by Disrupting the World? Fanbase is looking for the next Jr. Designer—and we’re making it a competition where you can showcase your talent and win a spot on our team!But this isn’t just any competition. We’re looking for a designer who understands the power of Creators, Inclusivity, Culture, and the Value of Content.🎯 The Challenge: Design With PurposeYour task? Create a digital design piece (graphics and motion) that captures the theme:🔹 Creators as Culture Leaders – How do creators shape digital culture?🔹 Inclusivity in Social Media – Show how everyone deserves a platform.🔹 The Value of Content – What makes content powerful and meaningful?All submissions must be posted through Fanbase Flickz (in Fanbase App), where the community will engage, react, and help decide the winner!📌 How to Enter:1️⃣ Apply through HERE by clicking on "Apply For This Job" in the upper right-hand side of the screen.2️⃣ Create: Design a visual piece that represents the theme.
Make sure the piece/s have a ratio of 9:16 or a square aspect ratio. (avoid 16:9 or 3:4) to make the best visual impact in Flickz. 3️⃣ Upload to Fanbase Flickz: Upload your design with the hashtag #FanbaseHBCU so we can find it. 4️⃣ Engagement Round: The Fanbase community will react, comment, and share. 5️⃣ Final Selection: A panel of Fanbase creatives + community engagement will determine the winner!👀 What we’ll be looking for:
- Visual Composition, Typography usage, Color theory knowledge (color usage), Imagery (selection & edition)
- Software knowledge (Photoshop, Figma, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Davinci Resolve, etc).
- Understanding of Fanbase’s mission and Creator perspective.
- How engaging you can be with your content.
- How quickly you can make magic happen!
