Technical Content Creator
to join our team. This role combines technical expertise with content development to create engaging, informative materials that showcase the capabilities and benefits of ROGII’s software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geoscience, technical writing, content creation, and marketing.Responsibilities
Technical Content Development:
- Create, edit, and develop technical content, including blog posts, technical articles, case studies, user guides, and white papers.
- Develop engaging multimedia content such as GIFs, infographics, and short demonstration videos to highlight product features.
- Prepare marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and website content, that clearly articulate the value of ROGII’s solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and the marketing team to ensure content accuracy and alignment with product offerings.
Customer Support & Engagement:
- Provide technical assistance to clients, addressing inquiries and troubleshooting software-related issues.
- Develop customer success stories and testimonials to showcase the impact of ROGII’s solutions.
- Conduct interviews with clients and stakeholders to gather insights for case studies and product improvements.
Product & Workflow Optimization:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather user feedback and contribute to software enhancements.
Marketing & Digital Strategy:
- Develop technical content for marketing campaigns, emphasizing the value and benefits of ROGII’s software.
- Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to improve online visibility and drive traffic.
- Work with the marketing team to create social media content, email campaigns, and online advertisements.
- Participate in conferences and trade shows, preparing and delivering engaging presentations to prospective clients.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geosciences, Engineering, Marketing, Communications, Technical Writing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in technical content creation, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of geological workflows and geoscience software (e.g., Petrel, Kingdom, GeoGraphix, or geosteering software).
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), SEO best practices, and digital marketing tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred:
- Experience with graphic design and multimedia content creation.
- Familiarity with software development cycles and bug reporting systems.
- Experience working with an Oil & Gas Exploration and Production (E&P) company.
- Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of web analytics and the ability to use data-driven insights to inform content strategy.
