Not only are we helping our farms get the labor that they need to survive and thrive in the modern world, but also helping farmworkers come here legally with H-2A Visas and support their families with dignity. We are looking for an experienced H-2A Case Manager to join our rapidly growing Visa Operations team

.

Using Seso’s state-of-the-art technology, you will consult with clients on their H-2A obligations, distill complex regulatory information, and coordinate with government agencies on their behalf. Furthermore, as a team leader, you will help coordinate and manage the workload of other team members, offer situational guidance and mentorship, and lead the team to high performance. 
You will have a pivotal role in shaping how Seso’s platform evolves to address customer pain points. As an early hire, you will have unparalleled opportunity for ownership and growth within the company. 

Responsibilities


  • Educator:
  • Communicate complex concepts and priorities clearly - live and asynchronously - to both customers that have had extensive H-2A experience and those that have just started
  • Utilize your deep knowledge and experience in order to build up other team members.

  • Case Manager:
  • Collect and prepare all necessary documentation for H-2A applications with strict deadlines.
  • Ensure that H-2A applications are free of mistakes and include all essential information required to meet H-2A regulations.
  • Communicate on behalf of clients with State Workforce Agencies, Department of Labor, and the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services.
  • Collaborate with internal and external immigration attorneys on complex cases.
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential case files on Seso’s proprietary platform.
  • Team Leader:
  • Lead a small group of Case Managers, sharing and balancing workload and taking ownership of performance for your team.
  • Conduct weekly 1:1s and check-ins with your team.
  • Act as first escalation point for the team on challenging issues.
  • Coach the Visa Operations team in best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Continually champion Seso’s vision and mission for the team in a variety of situations
  • Trusted Advisor: 
  • Actively listen to our clients to understand their unique challenges, and advise them on how to avoid high-risk H-2A submissions.
  • Advise clients on best practices related to housing and labor in an effort to help them avoid regulatory penalties and fines.
  • Customer Advocate: 
  • Advocate for process and product improvements that solve customer pain points.
  • Identifying process improvement opportunities so the company can build systems, tech and automation around it.

Skillset


  • At least 1+ year(s) of H-2A case management experience 
  • Superior communications skills (presentation, written, & verbal) in order to communicate effectively and proactively with clients, team members, and the broader organization
  • Experience supervising and mentoring other team members
  • Experience using electronic case management software, such as FLAG 
  • Ruthlessly organized with the ability to prioritize, delegate, multi-task, and execute with tight, strict deadlines
  • Ability to independently navigate complex and emotional situations in a professional manner
  • You have a demonstrable interest in agriculture and are passionate about improving the lives of farmers and farmworkers.Working proficiency in Spanish is ideal but not required.

Compensation: Up to $70,000 annuallyWe carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors to determine your personal top of market. We rely on market indicators to determine compensation and consider your specific job related skills and experience for accuracy.
