Our ideal candidate is someone who’s passionate about designing for humans, strategic to the core, and eager to jump in on a wide variety of projects—from web applications and e-commerce experiences to mobile apps and more.

They should be both analytical and creative. They should be able to anticipate user needs and have a talent for delivering smart, beautiful solutions. And they should excel at telling stories, creating narratives, and building brand relationships through digital experiences across the customer journey. A strong portfolio of successful UX and design thinking is essential.Must-haves

  • Ability to deliver beautiful UI designs and apply existing design systems
  • Ability to evaluate the big picture while obsessing over the details
  • Master at turning business requirements into user-friendly solutions
  • Applies empathy and considers human behavior in design solutions
  • 5+ years experience in a lead product or Sr. UX/UI design role
  • Ability to conduct UX research such as competitive/comparative audits, heuristic analysis, stakeholder interviews, design thinking workshops, and user testing
  • Ability to articulate solutions and design thinking to clients and team members
  • Natural collaborator who can ideate across teams
  • Comfortable taking ownership and initiative
  • Ability to execute thoughtful user stories, information architecture, and taxonomy
  • Ability to digest analytics and turn it into improved experiences
  • Proficient in industry design software (e.g. Miro, Figma, Adobe C-Suite, Google Analytics, HotJar)
  • Comfortable flying solo on an assignment or working on pieces of a larger design puzzle with a team, or leading a team initiative

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience prototyping (Principle, Figma or any other applicable tool)
  • Experience working within a scrum/agile environment
  • Certified data nerd with data visualization skills
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript
  • Experience in E-Commerce design
  • Experience in UX content writing
  • Experience with user testing tools such as Optimizely
