A. Purpose and Scope of Position
As an Accountant, you are responsible for day-to-day accounting, including processing expense reports and monitoring and posting bank and credit card statements. This person does not supervise others. This position interacts with all employees and all divisions of the company and may provide more specific support as requested.
B. Organizational Relationship
This position reports to the Managing Director of the respective subsidiary. This position may provide additional support to other departments as requested.
C. Duties and Responsibilities
Specific Job Duties/ResponsibilitiesProvide support to the F&A department on financial and accounting matters, working closely with the Managing Director of the division. Oversee the accounting processes for Paradigm Spine, ensuring compliance with company policies, accuracy, and regulatory standards.Serve as a liaison between the company and external accountants and tax advisors, facilitating seamless communication and efficient management of financial matters.Manage the customer invoice follow-up process, including credit management and collections, to ensure timely payments where applicable. Handle the processing of employee expense reports, if relevant. Financial ResponsibilitiesSubmit timely expense reports and abide by the Expense Reimbursement PolicyTrainingParticipate in training plans and programs and complete in a timely manner within set deadlinesComplete required training prior to attempting to perform a taskMaintain required training documentationManagementThis position does not supervise othersDocument Control and Record ControlAssist in the completion and retention of documentation pertaining to all SOPs as requiredMaintain information in physical and electronic files as requiredOther duties as assignedD. Job Requirements
Education/Credentials Experience & Training- Bachelor in Business Administration, Certified Management Accountant or equivalent is required
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Finance & Accounting is required
- Experience in corporate finance and accounting is required
- Experience with spreadsheet modeling, databases, and common software programs (e.g., Word, Excel, Powerpoint) is required
- Demonstrated administrative skills in dealing with complex systems is required
- Familiarity with financial reporting, business plans, sales and marketing matters is required

- Fluent native language skills
- Excellent English language skills required for work in Germany or Spain.

5. Working Conditions
- Working conditions are normal for an office environment with an open layout and assigned workstation or office
- Standard office hours are Monday – Friday; 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Work will require prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer
6. Health and Safety
- Must adhere to all health and safety requirements
- Must be able to occasionally lift and handle objects weighing up to 10 lbs.
