Geometric Solutions is seeking an experienced Mold Designer with expertise in NX Mold Wizard to provide as-needed support and training. The ideal candidate will be someone who is already employed full-time (either with a company or as a contractor) and can carve out time in their schedule to assist with our projects. This role is perfect for someone who can manage their time effectively and is looking for additional opportunities to leverage their skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert support and training on NX Mold Wizard.
- Take on mold design projects as needed, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with our team to understand project requirements and provide solutions.
- Offer guidance and troubleshooting assistance to team members using NX Mold Wizard.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Mold Designer with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Expertise in NX Mold Wizard.
- Currently employed full-time (company or contractor) with the ability to provide part-time support as needed.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong background knowledge in manufacturing processes and CNC machining.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience providing training and support in NX Mold Wizard and/or NX CAM.
- Experience with Siemens NX CAD/CAM customization for company-specific processes.
- Ability to create templates and libraries for tool design and programming.
