Twin Eagle Resource Management is currently seeking to fill the role for a Trading Risk Analyst. This position will report to the Vice President of Risk. The Risk team maintains risk controls for the trade floor, ensures correct pricing and marking of the portfolio, and reports on positions and profit-and-loss. In addition, the Risk team designs and implements quantitative measures of risk such as value-at-risk, stress tests, concentration risk and expected shortfall. The group is also involved in ad-hoc analysis initiatives and prepares materials for multiple stakeholders throughout Twin Eagle.
Position Responsibilities:
- Managing market data inputs and other end-of-day tasks
- Maintaining and publishing various risk reports in Power BI
- Creating, setting up and maintaining data within the energy trading & risk management (“ETRM”) system, including locations, pricing curves, etc.
- Reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting daily mark-to-market and exposure
- Assisting in the creation of month-end reports for the Risk Management Committee and other internal & external constituents
- Monitoring compliance with risk policies
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or another similar field
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience in energy industry
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to ask questions
- Proficiency with Excel, including Pivot Tables, Index/Match, Lookups and, preferably, VBA
- Ability to work well with front-office, IT, and other stakeholders, while maintaining independence
- Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization, including developing formal presentations
- Assist accounting and other teams as necessary to ensure proper invoicing and trade settlement
- Preference for experience with SQL and/or computer programming
