As part of our mission to expand globally, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Country Manager to lead our operations in UAE. Country Manager for UAE will be responsible for overseeing our operations and growth strategies in the region. This role involves spearheading market entry and expansion efforts, managing local business development and ensuring compliance with local regulations. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the cryptocurrency landscape and possess exceptional leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all country-level operations, including business development, compliance, marketing, and customer support in the UAE.
- Spearhead Ndax's entry and expansion strategies in the UAE, evaluating growth opportunities and making strategic recommendations based on market analysis.
- Collaborate with local regulators and ensure Ndax operates in full compliance with UAE laws and regulations for cryptocurrency and digital assets.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government authorities, financial institutions, and industry partners.
- Act as the face of Ndax in the region by representing the company at media engagements, conferences, industry forums, and client/regulator meetings.
- Monitor local market trends and competition to adjust strategies for maximum impact.
- Partner with Ndax’s global Product, IT, Marketing, and Operations teams to tailor products and services to meet the needs of UAE clients.
- Provide regular performance updates, including market growth and operational reports, to Ndax’s senior management.
Requirements
- Experience: 7+ years in a senior management role, with demonstrated expertise in the cryptocurrency, fintech, or financial services sectors.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Proven experience engaging with regulators and managing a business subject to regulatory oversight in the UAE.
- Networking: Strong network within the UAE’s financial services, fintech, and cryptocurrency ecosystems.
- Local Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of UAE regulations, market trends, and competition related to cryptocurrency and digital assets.
- Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Languages: Fluency in English and Arabic is preferred.
- Adaptability: Willingness to travel as needed.
